Gilles Schnepp

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Born in 1958 in Lyon, Gilles Schnepp joined Legrand in 1989 as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. He later took on the post of Company Secretary and was subsequently appointed Group Chief Financial Officer. He became Chief Operating Officer in 2000 and in 2001 became a member of the Executive Committee and a director of Legrand. He was Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of the Legrand group until 17 March 2006.

Olivier Bazil

Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer

Born 22 September 1946 in Bordeaux and Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Legrand since 2000. He joined Legrand in 1973 as Deputy Company Secretary and occupied the posts of Chief Financial Officer (1979), director (1989) and Deputy Chief Operating Officer (1994). He is a member of the Executive Committee and a director of Legrand.

Xavier de Froment

Vice President France

Born in 1950, he joined the Group in 2005 when Legrand acquired ICM Group of which he was the Chairman and Chief Operating Officer. In 2006, he became Chief Executive of the Arnould Group. He was appointed Vice President France on 1 August 2009.

Jean-Paul Leduc

Business Manager Exports

Born in 1950 in Tunis, Tunisia. Between 1973 and 1988, he occupied several positions with the sales & marketing function (France and Export) and was then successively appointed Market Manager for Industrial Products (1989), Sales Manager Planet-Wattohm (1991), Marketing Manager for German standard wiring devices (1994), he became head of Aupem Sefli between 1999 and 2001, after which he was appointed Vice President Export Sales.

Paolo Perino

Managing Director and CEO of BTicino

Born in 1954 in Trivero, Italy, Paolo Perino joined BTicino in Italy (part of the Group since 1989) in 1983 as Product Manager, before becoming Marketing Manager, Marketing Director and then Sales Director of BTincio Italy. In 1996, he took on the role of Director and then of General Manager of Legrand SpA, an Italian subsidiary of the Legrand Group. In 2000, he was appointed Group Marketing and External Communications Director a position he held until 2006 when he took over the General Management of BTicino.

John Selldorff

President and Chief Operating Officer, Legrand North America

Born in 1960 in Rochester, USA, John Selldorff joined Legrand in 2002 to take on the position President and Chief Operating Officer, Legrand North America.

Eric Seurin

Vice-President Purchasing and Logistics

Born in 1950 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, Eric Seurin joined the Group in 1998 as Logistics Director before being appointed Vice-President Purchasing and Logistics in 2001.

Patrice Soudan

Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Vice-President Wiring Devices and Home Systems Division

Born in 1958 in Aix-en-Provence, France, Patrice Soudan joined Legrand in 1990 as Finance Controller for international subsidiaries. He successively held the positions of Head of Finance Control, Vice-President Group Finance Control and Group CFO from 2001 to early 2008, before taking over the management of the Wiring Devices and Home Systems Division.

Philippe Weber

Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Vice-President Energy Distribution and Industrial Applications Division

Born in 1951 in Lyon, France, Philippe Weber joined the Group in 1987 as Engineering Manager at Antibes. He successively held the positions of Antibes site Director (1991), Director Protection (1999) and Vice-President Protection Division (2002). In 2008 he was appointed Vice-President Energy Distribution and Industrial Applications Division.
