Integrated Report 2024
2024 is a further illustration of the impact of the Group's profound transformations, and in particular of its positioning in growth areas such as datacenters, which have enabled it to record a significant increase in sales despite a declining construction market, and a strong performance on its CSR Roadmap, confirming our commitment to a sustainable and responsible growth.
In 2024, Legrand fully achieved its annual objectives, once again demonstrating its ability to navigate a complex market and generate solid results.
Sales growth, both organic and through acquisitions, amounted to +3.9%, while the adjusted operating margin reached 20.5% after acquisitions. The Group's net profit was 13.5% of revenue, and free cash flow represented 1.3 billion euros, or 14.9% of revenue. The Group also made significant progress in its CSR Roadmap, with an achievement rate of 113%. 2024 saw a sharp rise in datacenter activity, which now represent 20% of the Group's revenue(1). Legrand also announced nine acquisitions over the past twelve months, strengthening its strategic positions and expanding its product portfolio. These acquisitions, combined with a sustained pace of new product launches, contributed to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
The year 2024 also marks the last year of the Group's 5th CSR Roadmap 2022-2024, with results that demonstrate our commitments to a sustainable and responsible growth. Key achievements include reducing direct and indirect carbon emissions by 53% (Scope 1&2) over three years and increasing the proportion of women in management positions to over 30%.
For 2025, Legrand aims to accelerate its development with revenue growth between +6% and +10%. This momentum will be accompanied by the launch of the 6th CSR Roadmap 2025-2027, marking a new stage in our sustainability ambitions, notably with the introduction of a new pillar, serving our customers, to ensure that they are at the heart of all our actions, including CSR.
In conclusion, Legrand approaches 2025 with confidence and determination, on the strength of its past successes and its clear strategic vision. The Group is well positioned to continue its growth, building on its historical strengths and seizing the opportunities offered by technological and societal changes, while pursuing its commitments to corporate philanthropy and various partnerships, from Electriciens sans frontières to the United Nations Global Compact.
