Watt Stopper/Legrand raises trade paths awareness of eco-construction

On 10 December 2007 in Dubaï, the Middle East Centre for Sustainable Development and Watt Stopper/Legrand launched a complete brand new educational programme aimed at improving the knowledge among specifying engineers and electrical installers as regards eco-construction and lighting control systems.
On the strength of its 25 years of experience in electricity efficiency, Watt Stopper/Legrand seeks to educate the trade path in matters of eco-construction, energy efficiency standards and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. In this context, Watt Stopper/Legrand has already provided guidance to a number of organizations, including the store chain Wal-Mart and the city of Austin, Texas, to help them meet their sustainable development objectives.
