07.02.2020Legrand improves its position in the ranking for female representation on governing bodies among SBF120 companies
July 2nd, 2020 – France’s Secretary of State for Gender Equality and the Fight against Discrimination unveiled yesterday the 2019 ranking for female representation on governing bodies among SBF120 companies*. This classification ranks the 120 leading French companies according to the female share of membership on their governing bodies (board of directors, executive committee) and their gender diversity policy.
Legrand ranks 16th in the table for 2019, an improvement on the previous year when it ranked 25th.
This rise is due in particular to the increased share of women on the executive committee (up from 25% to 33%), and the inclusion of the Workplace Gender Equality Index in the assessment. The Group is determined to maintain its efforts to promote workplace gender equality and reach its objective of gender parity and one third of women among the 400 key positions by 2030.
