“We design smart objects that are no longer just connected, but which provide new services to users, offering them a better smart home experience.”
Chief Technology Officer for the Eliot program
With Eliot, Legrand is developing a multitude of connected solutions that add value for users. The aim is both to connect existing products by adding connected interfaces and to develop new solutions that are connected natively, i.e. inherently designed to communicate, in both residential and commercial environments. Because, these days, uses no longer have boundaries, and experiences in the residential and commercial sectors are coming closer together. Given this situation, Legrand enables millions of users to act on their environment wherever they are: at home, in a hotel room, at work, etc.
At Legrand, we make innovation a constant priority and an integral part of our business culture. Machine learning, voice and face recognition, Big Data: the integration of artificial intelligence into connected devices and associated services enables Legrand to further improve the functionality and capabilities for both the end consumer and the installer.
